A Newcastle based data centre is kick starting the new-year with two high profile appointments.
ZebraHosts provides server hosting and co location solutions from its impressive facility on Westgate Road Newcastle
A period of strong growth through 2007 and predictions for at least a further 20% increase in turnover through 2008, has led to the data centre appointing their first marketing position and launching a search for another strategic account manager to handle the growing client list.
Explains Annabel Cornish from ZebraHosts "The marketing position has been created to enable the company to proactively present itself and the unique services offered to new and potential clients."
"We felt we could be doing more to reach our audience personally. Andrew Carter joins us with a good understanding of the industry and its complexities and I’m sure will use his skills to increase awareness of the benefits we can offer a business as well as presenting real solutions. And of course, help us secure even more new business."
Confidence in the company’s growth rate continuing into the future has also led to the search for a new strategic account manager to work alongside Belinda Kent, the company’s current strategic account manager. The client-facing role will provide one-to-one support and management to the ever- expanding client list.
From handling new client enquiries and outlining service solutions, to managing the day to day running of accounts, the strategic account management position is a significant acquisition for ZebraHosts and one the company has been considering for some time.
"This role is critical to the ongoing success of the business so finding the right person with the right mix of skills, enthusiasm and commitment to quality is crucial" said Annabel. "Appointing someone who will effectively represent this business directly to clients on a day to day basis is always going to be a challenge; our expectations are high."
The company states that their growth is largely due to the increase in IT awareness and in turn the expanding IT needs of North East companies, many of which are outgrowing their current web facilities and are outsourcing their server location to companies like ZebraHosts.
The appointment of Andrew Carter in telemarketing has already been made, whilst the new strategic account manager position is expected to be filled in the coming weeks.
