Plant and Consumables Services Limited (PACS) is a leading, independently owned, plant hire and consumables organisation. It provides total supply solutions to large blue chip companies working on power utility, petro-chemical and major industrial construction sites throughout the UK and Europe.

ZebraHosts provided the IT infrastructure for a PACS client in the North East of England.

The solution that ZebraHosts set up provides a central location to access and back up important documents, allows staff to read e-mails and supports the crucial software designed by PACS that logs transaction processing.

ZebraHosts purchased, installed and configured the equipment, working with PACS to set up a Virtual Private Network between PACS’s head office and their client's site.

ZebraHosts provides continued support and maintenance of the infrastructure with their IT Support Service. Support can be provided remotely or by physically arriving on site to configure equipment or fix any problems PACS experiences.

ZebraHosts also offers ongoing support in terms of consultancy, antivirus applications and software, server management - installing new software releases as and when they are released. ZebraHosts continues to protect the network that has been installed by implementing security procedures to minimise any potential software security breaches.

ZebraHosts worked with a client onsite to setup a small business server along with the backup and configuration of their router, UPS and backup system.
