 What is a communications room?

In most buildings at the time of construction the main concern was the comfort of the people working in them and no consideration was given to technology of the future. A communications room is a room built to specifically accommodate technology such as servers and communications equipment.

Dedicated Server room, Communications room, Comms room and Data centre are all common terms used to describe a communications room.
